Q – Does your office offer in person consultations with Karta Purkh (KP)?
A - Currently KP occasionally offers in person consultations, phone consultations or SKYPE are available and provides successful treatment solutions to your health concerns.

Q – What makes KP different from other holistic practitioners?
A – KP has over 40 years of experience treating client health issues using treatment systems from around the world, he specializes in Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Native American, European and Western Herbalism. He is completely committed to improving your health with natural approaches and works collectively with medical approachs provided by your medical doctor.

Q – How will I know what herbs or supplements to take?
A – After your consultation KP provides a complete description via a treatment form, he gives detailed instructions and direct retail website retailer links for herbs and supplements so purchasing is easy.

Q – What happens if I have a side effect?

Q – Can I purchase herbs and supplements at the health store?
A – Yes, please send the brand name and a description of the product to KP's herb technician to verify that you have purchased the correct items. It is best to purchase the items that are linked on your form, we have selected the best quality products at the best available prices.

Q – Can I take the suggested herbs and supplements even though I'm vegan or vegetarian?
A – Please note that you are vegan or vegetarian on your health intake form and inform KP during your consultation. Nearly all herbs and supplements are available for vegans and vegetarians. You can also contact the herb technician to request vegan or vegetarian items.

Q – What can I do if I have financial concerns?
A – Contact our office prior to your initial or follow-up consultation, KP can adjust your treatment program to accommodate your budget.

Q – Some of the herb and supplement doses are larger than what I'm familiar with, do I really need to take this much?
A – The suggested dose on your treatment form is ideal for overcoming the health issue you are experiencing as quickly as possible, if you take less than what is suggested the results will likely be less or not effective. It is helpful to consider herbs and supplements as food that offer exceptional health benefits. If you have any problems consuming the suggested dose amounts contact the herb technician and/or notify KP during your follow up consultation.

Q- The sales person at the health store told me that the dose KP suggested is too much, is this true?
A – KP's suggested dose may be higher than most natural health practitioners are familiar with, it is best to avoid instructions offered by sales people at the health store, if you are concerned contact our office or the herb technician.

Q – The sales person at the health store sold me a product that is different from the product on my treatment form, is this OK?
A – KP's suggestions are based on experience with particular products and related efficacy, avoid purchasing products that are not identical to the item listed on your treatment form. Contact the herb technician if you have questions or concerns.

Q – I travel often, how do I manage taking herbs and supplements?
A – Please note this on you health intake form, mention during your follow up consultation or contact our herb technician. We offer many solutions that allow you to adhere to your health program while traveling.

Q – When I click on the link for an herb or supplement I see many size options, how will I know what size to buy?
A – On the top you your treatment form you will see the amount of time until your follow up consultation, this is usually one month but may be more or less depending on your health issue. You can multiply your suggested daily dose times the number of days until your follow up consultation or contact the herb technician and they will assist you.

Q – The treatment form suggests taking 10 grams per day, what is the best way to measure the amounts listed on my form?
A – A simple electronic scale is very helpful and cost around $20. Most online supplement retailers offer inexpensive scales, be sure to purchase one that measures in one gram increments or less. The herb technician will put powdered herb or supplement links on your form if the daily dose is large, this is done to avoid consuming an excessive amount of capsules. All herbs and supplements are available in capsule form however.

Most capsules come in 500 mg size so it is fairly easy to determine the amount of capsules to be consumed.
